Real Madrid are reportedly willing to make a shock decision regarding their talisman Vinicius Junior.
Los Blancos are not expected to make any signings during the current window, with manager Carlo Ancelotti confirming that the club would not be signing a defender despite both centre-backs Eder Militao and David Alaba sustaining lengthy injuries.
What has been evident, however, is that the Spanish giants have their sights set on their long-term target Kylian Mbappe instead.

According to reports, the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners are hopeful they will finally get their man at the end of the season, as the Frenchman is reportedly uninterested in extending his stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
As such, Spanish outlet SPORT claims that Real are open to selling Vinicius in order to fund Mbappe's move. Although the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner would arrive on a free transfer, the report suggests that he will likely become the club's highest-paid player, with an estimated wages of £600 000 (R14 million) a week.
It is further reported that the annual costs of signing the Frenchman would be around £30 million (R723 million) and over the duration of his contract, that would mean an outlay of at least £150 million (R3.6 billion).
Due to these lofty figures, president Florentino Perez will reportedy consider cashing in on their Brazilian winger, who is also believed to be a massive Manchester United target for next season.
However, earlier this week, Perez refused to discuss Mbappe after being asked about the possibility of getting the deal over the line, per Madrid Universal.
Speaking after Real won the Spanish Supercup against rivals FC Barcelona on Sunday, the president said: "It's not the day to talk about this [Mbappe]. Today is the day to congratulate the players we have and not the players who are on other teams. We have been able to verify that we have scored 9 goals in two games."
