Barcelona midfielder Pedri claims its crazy to compare to him to club legend Lionel Messi after his impressive goal against Galatasaray.
The Spaniard bagged the equaliser with an impressive finish in the 37th minute before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted the winner and secured their spot in the Europa League quarter-finals.
The 19-year-old was quick to play down the comparisons with arguably Barcelona's greatest ever player.
"No way! Messi has scored much better goals. It is crazy to compare me with Messi," Pedri told reporters when asked about Messi comparisons, as per Goal.
"I don't really remember the goal, though, so I will have to watch it back. I remember Ferran [Torres] gave me the ball, I feinted [inside] because I saw a leg coming and again, I think, until I shot.
"Things just come to me on the pitch. I'm lucky in that I don't have to really think."
