Real Madrid have confirmed that star defender Sergio Ramos will leave when his contract expires at the end of the month.

The Spanish defender has decided against signing a new deal with the 13-time European Champions and will bring an end to his 16-year stay in the Spanish capital.

Ramos joined Los Blancos from Sevilla in 2005 and went on to establish himself as a club legend after winning four UEFA Champions League titles and five LaLiga crowns while racking up 671 appearances for the club.
