Official: FC Barcelona Confirm Fifth Departure

The clear-out at FC Barcelona does not seem to be slowing down as the club has now confirmed their fifth departure ahead of the new season.

The Catalan giants have confirmed that winger Francisco Trincao will spend the upcoming campaign on loan at Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old made 28 appearances in LaLiga last season and contributed with three goals and two assists as the Catalans finished third.

With new signings coming in to the Camp Nou, the 21-year-old will now get likely get more game time in the English top flight.

Statement:

FC Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have reached an agreement on the loan of Francisco Trincão until 30 June 2022.

The English club will take responsibility for the player's licence and the deal includes a non-compulsory option to buy.

Trincao is the first Barcelona player to be loaned out this transfer window, while Jean-Clair Todibo, Matheus Fernandes and Juan Miranda have all left the club permanently.
