Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has revealed he is disappointed with Zinedine Zidane's decision to leave the Spanish club.

Los Blancos confirmed the French tactician's departure last week, just days after the club lost out on the 2020/21 LaLiga title to crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid.
Benzema, who was previously quite vocal about wanting to see Zidane stay at the club, was sad to see his countryman depart for a second time.
"Zizou has always been behind me, supported, and helped to reach this level," the striker said, as per Goal.
"I will thank him every day. Of course, I am disappointed that he is leaving Real, because he is a great manager and has won a lot of trophies.
"On a human level, he is the perfect man. I would say the word magnificent even to describe it. But that's how it is, and life goes on."
