Real Madrid can move two points clear at the top of LaLiga after the Catalan giants drew 2-2 with Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon.
For the second game in a row, Griezmann started on the bench for the defending champions, with 17-year-old Ansu Fati getting the nod.
"I don't look at whether the signings are expensive or cheap," the Barcelona coach said, as per the Standard.
"Last week we opted for one lineup and this week another. Last week you asked me why Ansu didn't play and this week Griezmann.
"They are decisions that I make and they are technical ones. And they are not capricious."
