Antonio Rudiger Real Madrid Salary Revealed?

Antonio Rudiger Real Madrid Salary Revealed?

With several media outlets reporting that Antonio Rudiger will be Real Madrid's first acquisition for the 2022/23 season, the details of the German's contract with Los Blancos have seemingly been revealed.

Rudiger is currently a Chelsea player, but his deal with the West London side expires at the end of the season, and with the sale of the club dragging on, it seems the central defender has taken matters into his own hands by agreeing a contract with Los Blancos.

According to Marca, the record European champions will be compensating Rudiger with €11 million (R185 million) annually over the course of four years.

It is further claimed that Florentino Perez will altogether invest €59 million (R991 million) for the duration of the player's contract, which is understood to end in 2026, when add-ons such as bonuses are factored in.

Rudiger was said to be eager to stay at Chelsea, but contract negotiations were not possible following owner Roman Abramovich's decision to sell of the team and the sanctions that had been placed on him and the club due to his alleged links with Russia president Vladimir Putin.

Real's elimination of the Blues from the UEFA Champions League at the quarter-final stage, and Carlo Ancelotti's request to bring the defender in, are said to be the factors that persuaded the 28-year-old to choose the Spanish capital as his new home.
