Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has given Fiacre Ntwari valuable advice following the Rwandan's shaky start to life at Naturena.
In his seven appearances for Amakhosi, Ntwari has kept one clean sheet and recently came under-fire for his performance in the Carling Knockout clash against Mamelodi Sundowns, which the Tshwane giants won 4-0 at FNB Stadium.

Khune was in attendance at FNB Stadium and one of the concerns from supporters was how Ntwari would sometimes just hoof the ball forward, turning over possession to Sundowns.
Khune, well known for his distribution, advised Ntwari and the other goalkeepers at Naturena, Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen, not to think about those who came before them and rather just focus on forging their own path.
To make his point, Khune used an example of how Ronwen Williams is currently building his own legacy without trying to be like the great goalkeepers of the past.
"Ronwen Williams is enjoying himself in the Bafana Bafana team. He never thought of Itumeleng Khune, he never thought of other goalkeepers who came before me. He is focusing on his own path. So, that's what I wish and hope for the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeepers. Not to think too much of the goalkeepers who came before them. Let them focus on themselves, on their performances, work hard at training," Khune said recently at an event where he announced that he is a shareholder and owner of betting company Top Bet.

"So, that's what I pray for, that Ntwari should not focus more on who came before him and on who did what. He just has to focus on his game and on improving himself and the team and he will come right."
