The Argentine side is poised to part with two of their stars, as both Esquivel and Suarez are reportedly on the verge of joining Mamelodi Sundowns.
Esquivel returned to his former side on loan following a brief stint with Ka Bo Yellow but is now set to return to Tshwane, while Suarez is a new recruit for the reigning South African champions.
Both players were used sparingly by head coach Alexander Medina during the 2024 campaign. Suarez only started 10 league matches out of the 27 matchdays he was available for, while Esquivel managed just three starts in the top flight.
Talleres are unlikely to seek replacements for the departing duo, but club president Andres Fassi has revealed that delving into the market during January presents its own unique challenges.
"This market is difficult at times. I ask for your understanding, you journalists, because when it is published that Talleres wants a player, the negotiations become complicated," the Argentine executive said, as per La Voz.
"We try to handle ourselves with a lot of confidentiality, because the market is already complex, and it has happened to us that when a name is leaked, another team appears right away claiming it."
The club did sign the likes of Rick, Joaquin Mosqueira, Miguel Navarro, and Matias Galarza Fonda this transfer window, and Fassi seems content with these acquisitions, given the seemingly imminent exits of Esquivel and Suarez.

"I think we made a great economic and institutional effort so that no starting player leaves the squad, and three excellent players came, like Nahuel, Rick, and Mosqueira. We made an economic effort for them that Talleres is not used to making because we are betting on the formation of a squad that is a protagonist."
