Senegal's all-time top goalscorer is said to be on the verge of an exit from the oil-rich kingdom at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old arrived at the Knights of Najd with a massive reputation, having just left Bayern Munich, but since signing for the Middle Eastern club, he has struggled to set the league alight with his performances.

Mane has only managed to score 26 goals and provide 20 assists in the 76 appearances he has made for Al Nassr, as the club have not lifted any silverware during his tenure thus far.

Having recently signed young Colombian star Jhon Duran from Aston Villa in the past transfer window, and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the club are now looking to supplement his arrival by signing a new winger as well, meaning that Mane will likely have to make way.

Romano elaborated by saying that the Saudi giants tried to sign Kaoru Mitoma during January as well, but after Brighton Hove Albion refused their bids, they will look to sign another distinctive attacker during the off-season.

There have been constant rumours linking Mane with a possible return to Europe after his controversial exit from Bayern, with clubs such as Fenerbahce and Inter Milan touted as possible landing spots for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner in the past, but it remains to be seen which clubs will be interested in signing the player should his exit from Al Nassr come to fruition.
