The 34-year-old, who currently plays for Mexican outfit Queretaro, is set to join Kabuscorp by the end of the season, according to club president Benedict Kangamba.
"We are in battle. We are negotiating with the agent of Ronaldinho Gaucho to get him for a period of one year," Kangamba told Public Television Angola (PTA).
"With Ronaldinho, we could win the African Champions League and successfully play the Club World Cup against the best teams in Europe and the world.
"It's a certainty. We are negotiating, but Ronaldinho has to first terminate the contract with his current club, and then be able to join us in June.
"I picked Ronaldinho because I want quality in my squad."
If Ronaldinho would indeed join Kabuscorp, he would follow his former national teammate, Rivaldo, who reportedly scored 18 goals in 21 games for the Angolan club in 2012.
The 2005 Ballon d'Or winner has made 14 appearances for Queretaro so far, scoring three goals and assisting in a further two, before falling victim to racism.

Kabuscorp won it's first Angolan league title in 2013 and finished second in 2014, which means they could face Mamelodi Sundowns or Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League this year.
