Real Madrid Star: Neymar Would Be Welcome At The Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid star Casemiro has cheekily said that FC Barcelona forward Neymar would be welcome at the Santiago Bernabeu if he decides to leave the Camp Nou.

There have been reports floating around that the Blaugrana superstar may be considering a move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the coming weeks, with the French side said to be willing to activate his €222 million (R3.34 billion) release clause.

Los Blancos midfielder Casemiro has seemingly added fuel to the fire by saying that his fellow countryman would be welcome at the Santiago Bernabeu if he wants to leave the Camp Nou.

"It is up to Neymar himself to decide his own future," Casemiro told Globo Esporte.

"He knows what he must do. Why could he not play here at Real Madrid? He would be welcome here with us."

The Brazil international also admitted he had not been in contact with Neymar over the past few weeks, and that he has no idea whether or not he would be leaving La Liga this season.

"I haven't spoken with Neymar, but I wish him the best," Casemiro added.

"He is a great player, I admire him a lot. He knows what he is doing, behind they are all very capable, his father is a great person, who knows what he is doing.

"If he does leave Barcelona, I wish him all the luck in the world. If he stays, I also wish him all the best in the world."
