Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has opened up about his relationship with FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
With Messi and Aguero having known each other since the age of 17, the Citizens striker has admitted that they are like an "old married couple".
The two forwards often room together while they are on international duty, and on a TV show known as Santo Sabado recently, the City star shared some of the behind-the-scenes moments of their friendship.
In the light-hearted interview, Aguero jokingly said that Messi likes to complain: "I always fall asleep with the TV on and the next morning he's always complaining."
He also mentioned that the Barca star is very strict on being punctual.
"We get back to the hotel at 19:30 and we're eating at 21:00," Aguero added.
"There's time. But Leo's in the shower straight away and ready. I'm there in my boxers and talking on my phone...
"Time passes and with half an hour to go, he starts: 'We're eating at 21:00, in 30 minutes...'
"I'm still there on my phone and he's going: '10 minutes to go. We always arrive late. We've been here for an hour...'
"And then I get ready. The bad vibes start and he doesn't like arriving late!"
Messi is currently on international duty with Argentina, but Aguero is not available for action as yet after undergoing knee surgery in June.
