Alexis Sanchez made his debut for Manchester United as the Red Devils defeated Yeovil Town 4-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
They paraded their high-profile January signing in Alexis Sanchez, who led their attack with Juan Mata and Marcos Rashford.
The home side showed little respect in the opening spell by getting the first shot on goal, which was comfortably dealt with by Sergio Romeo.
Yeovil's high-line approach caused a few problems to United, who struggled to break them down while maintaining their fast-play approach at the same time.
Sanchez played in Scott Mctominay, who ran into the middle of the box, but his goal-bound effort was tipped away for a corner by Artur Krysiak after 24 minutes.
At the other end, Romeo was forced to punch away a 30-yard free-kick from James Gray, as the tie began to take shape.
United took the lead after 41 minutes courtesy of Rashford who broke through the Glovers defence for a lob over Krysiak.
United continued from where they left off in the second half, with Mata's half-volley coming off the top of the crossbar five minutes into the second half.
On the other hand, Ryan Dickson's cross from the left side found the head of Sam Sturridge but he couldn't direct it onto Romeo's goal minutes later.
The hosts were on the backfoot and United struck the second in the form of Ander Herrera with a left-footed finish following Sanchez's layoff after 61 minutes.
That was to be his last foray of play as he was replaced by Romelu Lukaku, with the Reds firmly in the driving seat.
The same applied for debutant Sanchez, who was replaced by Jesse Lingard to a lukewarm cheer from the packed home crowd.
Lingard was immediately in on goal and missed a golden opportunity to get on the score-sheet by firing wide of goal.
Lingard finally got his goal two minutes from time by firing in the bottom corner after shrugging off a number of Yeovil defenders to beat Krysiak hands down.
Lukaku secured the fifth round passage in added time with an easy tap-in following a cross from the left side by Marcos Rojo.
