UEFA Europa League: BSC Young Boys 2-0 Napoli 23 October 2014

BSC Young Boys claimed an impressive 2-0 win over Napoli in their Europa League group I clash at the Stade de Suisse on Thursday night.

Hoarau came close to giving the home side the lead in the 15th minute, but his glancing header sailed just wide of the upright.

Yvon Mvogo pulled off a fine save to keep out Dries Mertens's curling effort from the edge of the area in the 41st minute.

Faouzi Ghoulam nearly broke the deadlock seconds after the restart, as he curled an effort inches wide of Mvogo's upright.

However, Young Boys took the lead seven minutes after the halftime break with a fine half volley from 12-yards out.

The Italians had the ball in the back of the net in the 80th minute but Jose Callejon's goal was ruled out after the Spanish striker was flagged for offside.

The Swiss outfit eventually sealed the win in stoppage time, thanks to a close range finish from Leonardo Bertone.

Young Boys now top Group I on goal difference, while Rafael Benitez's men drop down to third.
