Manchester United superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has been in a rich vein of form for the Red Devils of late, has been compared to FC Barcelona goal machine Lionel Messi.
Mourinho: Man Utd Star Not Finishing Career In China Or USA
Former United midfielder Paddy Crerand recently discussed Ibrahimovic's time in England so far, and insisted that he believes the Swede, who has scored 50 club goals in 2016, is on the same level as the Argentine – who has hit the back of the net 51 times for the Blaugrana this year.
"If you ask anyone who's the best player in the world, they would probably say Messi, and (Ibrahimovic's) feats shows he's the equal of him," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"I must admit I didn't realise just how good (Ibrahimovic) is, but seeing him every week, he's just incredible.
"What I like about him is his intelligence, his football brain. His fitness levels are unbelievable and I just wish he was 25!
"He must be a pleasure to play with, and for someone who is a midfield player, to have him playing in front of you, with his imagination, must be tremendous."
