The striker was benched for City's first UEFA Champions League clash with FC Barcelona, which the Citizens lost 4-0, and it had been suggested he did not react too well to the news, with some reports even claiming Guardiola was keen to sell the 28-year-old.
That speculation came during a spell that saw Aguero go five consecutive games without scoring. However, the City forward has now cleared the air, saying he has no problem with the new Citizens boss.
"I'm never angry. I respect every manager's decision," he told reporters after City's 3-1 win over the Blaugrana earlier this week, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"He said it was a tactical thing and I obviously respect that.
"When I went on the pitch, I tried to give my best and then train hard to be ready for the next game. But no one was in a bad mood.
"I've experienced many different important nights, and today was another one that not only me but the whole team enjoyed.
"We also could feel the support from the fans, and that was important for our confidence. It was a nice game for the memories."
