Pogba Urged To Join Shock Mid-Tier EPL Team

Pogba Urged To Join Shock Mid-Tier EPL Team

Paul Pogba has been urged to join a shock mid-tier Premier League club ahead of his return to football in March 2025.

The Frenchman has been advised to consider a move to Fulham, where the pressure would be "not as high," as the World Cup winner prepares for his return to football.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who has been serving a doping suspension, saw his ban reduced, allowing him to resume training in January 2025 and officially return to action by March.

With Juventus having terminated his contract, Pogba is now searching for a new club, hoping that his free-agent status will make him an attractive prospect.

According to former player Ryan Babel, a move to a mid-table Premier League side like Fulham could be the ideal environment for Pogba to regain his best form, away from the intense scrutiny of playing for a top club.

"Yes, I think Paul Pogba could be a good addition for a Premier League club," he told Instant Casino.

"The only question is which team. I think he could deliver for teams like Fulham, the teams where the pressure is not as high as Man United. Not because he couldn't handle that pressure, but simply because there would be too much on him.

"He'd be in the spotlight if he joined one of the top four teams. Considering all the trauma and things he's experienced, I think it would be beneficial for him to join a team where there isn't the pressure to win the title.

"Then he could quickly become one of the main stars and establish himself as a top-level player again. He would stand out in a team like that. He hasn't played football in a long time, so coming back at that level won't be easy for him, but of course, he has the talent to do it."
