After Real Madrid star Toni Kroos slammed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for sometimes celebrating with a superhero mask earlier this week, the African superstar has now responded.
In a podcast he hosts with his brother Felix Kroos titled Einfach mal Luppen, the Los Blancos midfielder said it is "nonsense" that the former Borussia Dortmund man celebrates goals with a superhero mask sometimes.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the remarks drew attention from fans around the world, as well as the man in question.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the Arsenal striker called Kroos out by name and explained that those celebrations are for his son.
