Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has sensationally revealed that they were offered the chance to sign two Manchester United stars in January.

There were a number of reports claiming that Paul Pogba had fallen out with Jose Mourinho after being dropped to the bench, while he was also linked with an exit.
Super agent, Mino Raiola recently had some harsh words for the City manager last month, but Guardiola has hit back and revealed that the agent offered United's rivals Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
"Two months ago he offered me Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play with us," Guardiola was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.
"Why did he offer? He was interested in Mhikitarian and Pogba playing with us?
"So he has to protect his players and he cannot bring the players to a guy like me, like a dog.
"I said no. We don't have enough money to buy Pogba because he is so expensive."

nMkhitaryan eventually moved to Arsenal in a swap deal that Alexis Sanchez join United, while there continues to doubts surrounding Pogba's future.
