Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has fired a strong warning to his team's critics after the Citizens won just once in their past six Premier League matches.

The 2023 FIFA Club World Cup champions will take on Everton away from home on Wednesday night, but go into the game having claimed just seven points from their previous six league encounters.
During this run, the Spaniard has seen his side beat only Luton Town, while they drew with Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, and lost to Aston Villa.
Guardiola believes his rivals enjoy seeing the Citizens in a slump of form, and urged them to keep doubting that City can continue to be successful.
"This is the business. When you don't win you are nothing, zero," he said, according to the Mirror.
"As much as you win, they want you to fail more than ever. I've felt that since day one in Barcelona, that people are waiting.
"What we have won, the titles, is unbelievable – and the people say 'how good they play, the methodology, how genius it is'.
"But it is because I win. They don't understand anything about what we do, but they give credit just because we win.
"You have to look further than that. In the moment you don't win, there are going to be doubts – but that is what is nice. That is okay. Doubt us again. We'll see what happens."
