Official: Record-Breaking Man City Secure Fourth Straight EPL Title

Manchester City 3-1 West Ham United

Manchester City have been crowned Premier League champions for the fourth season in a row after defeating West Ham United on the final day of the season.

Stefan Ortega came back into the City goal as Ederson has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while the Hammers were without top scorer Jarrod Bowen.

The Citizens got off to the perfect start when the Premier League Player of the Year Phil Foden found the top corner with a superb strike after just two minutes.

The lead was doubled in the 18th minute when Jeremy Doku turned provider to pick out the run of Foden, who sent a first-time finish into the far corner.

The Hammers did give themselves some hope before the break through Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, who scored with a wonderful over-head kick.

However, Pep Guardiola's men restored their two-goal advantage just before the hour mark when Bernardo Silva teed up Rodri for the low finish from the edge of the area.

The Citizens have now become the first time in history to win four consecutive top-flight league titles in England.

Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Arsenal had to settle for second spot despite beating Everton on the final day of the season.

The Gunners made one change from the win over Manchester United, as Bukayo Saka missed out due to an injury and was replaced by Gabriel Martinelli.

With the news filtering through of Man City beating the Hammers, the Gunners were finding it tough to break the deadlock on home soil.

It was Everton who got the breakthrough five minutes before the halftime break, as Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye found the back of the net.

Arsenal levelled matters on the stroke of halftime when Takehiro Tomiyasu got his second goal of the season by turning home Martin Odegaard's cross.

The Gunners did get the winning goal in the 88th minute when Kai Havertz bundled the ball home from close range but it wasn't enough as City had sealed the title.
