Pep Guardiola has responded to rumours that Manchester City will move for Paris Saint-Germain Neymar, who has been linked with an exit from the French giants.
The Premier League giants have been credited with an interest in the 30-year-old Brazil international after new PSG manager Christophe Galtier said certain decisions are out of his control amid speculation that the forward could leave the club in this transfer window.
Sections of the French press have claimed the Citizens could be weighing up a bid for Neymar, who has never played in England, but Guardiola has been quick to deny a move for the ex-Barcelona winger is on the cards.
"I'm sorry for Le Parisien but it's not true," he said, according to Manchester Evening News.
"Their information is not right, Neymar is an incredible player and the information I have he's an incredibly nice guy.
"But it's not right. Every summer Manchester City are going to buy 150 players."
Guardiola then confirmed Oleksandr Zinchenko is soon to follow Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus through the exit door, and said discussions as to whether or not more players will be brought in will be held in-house.
Neymar has scored 100 goals and assisted a further 60 strikes in 144 matches for PSG since his arrival in 2017.
