Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has admitted that, if he wants to win the Ballon d'Or one day, he needs to have more of an ego.
The German was asked what he needed to change in order to challenge stars such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for one of football's biggest individual prizes, and he responded by admitting he needs to score more, and to do this he needs to have a bigger ego.
"I have to become more dangerous in front of the goal," he told Sport Bild.
"I was injured for long spells last season, and scored only five in 32 competitive games.
"I want to improve this.
"To achieve it, I have to be a bit more egotistical."
