According to El Chiringuito, Guardiola must deal with some unhappy stars in the coming weeks. City's UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur has raised some question marks over Guardiola's squad, while players such as Sane and Jesus want more game time.
Neither Sane nor Jesus started in the club's dramatic 4-3 second-leg win, which was not enough to avoid elimination courtesy of the away goals rule, and neither have been regular starters of late, and are said to be seeking moves away as a result, as per El Chiringuito.
Jesus has started just eight Premier League games this season, playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero, while Sane featured for just seven minutes over both quarter-final ties against Spurs. In addition, the skilful German, who was named Young Premier League Player of the Season last year, has started five of the last 10 league fixtures on the bench, with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva seemingly the preferred options on the wings.
Club-record signing Riyad Mahrez has also found himself on the bench more often than he would have expected, and has been linked with an exit too. Other players who could leave the Citizens include Nicolas Otamendi, another star who has seen his game time decrease massively in this campaign, while Vincent Kompany's expiring contract is yet to be extended.
Former Real Madrid right-back Danilo has also been linked with an exit, while second-choice goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and out-of-favour centre-back Eliaquim Mangala could also leave the Etihad.
For now, Guardiola and his players will be focused on Wednesday's Manchester derby – a win at Old Trafford would see them go above Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
