Manchester City has enjoyed a busy transfer window so far, securing the signings of Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri, who have been integrated into the squad for the Club World Cup.
However, City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted that several players will likely leave the club in search of first-team football amid the competition within the squad.
According to OneFootball, Man City goalkeeper Ederson has dismissed the rumours of his exit from the Etihad as 'fake news'.
The 31-year-old has one year left on his contract and remains linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.
"My future is here," Ederson said. "Some friends send me lots of news, but 99 per cent is fake news. I understand you guys, you need the news, to put a 'like' on social media, but there’s a lot of fake news around my name," he continued.
The Brazilian maintained he is fully committed to Man City ahead of the new season.
"My head is here. It stays with City. It means everything to go back to the Premier League and to try to win the Champions League as well. My mind is staying in the club," he revealed.
Guardiola was coy when asked about Ederson's future beyond next season.
