Earlier this week, the Reds returned to the summit of the Premier League after they beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor.
Perhaps surprisingly, the Egyptian winger was not involved in any of the goals on the night, with Cody Gakpo providing the assist for Darwin Nunez to open the scoring, before Diogo Jota doubled their lead with the help of a Luis Diaz ball in the second half.
Salah is Liverpool's top goalscorer so far this season with 16 strikes in all competitions, with his nearest competitor at the club, Jota, seven goals behind him.
The 31-year-old is set to head to the Ivory Coast soon to compete for the next AFCON title with Egypt, leaving the EPL title challengers without their most prominent player.
However, Gakpo believes the Merseysiders' remaining attackers have what it takes find the back of net in Salah's absence as they look to maintain their title charge.
"For every attacking player who didn't score for a few games, it's always nice to get back on the scoresheet and Darwin did it with a very good goal," the Dutchman said, as per 90min.
"For Diogo as well. When you are injured and you come back and score that's always nice and good for the confidence. So really happy.
