Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has scored and assisted more goals than any other Premier League midfielder since 2011, including the likes of Yaya Toure and Eden Hazard.
"Watching Messi Play Makes Me Emotional"
Old Trafford's latest hero found himself benched for around a month, before starting the Red Devils' last two fixtures, which was capped off with a double against Liverpool on Sunday.
According to Opta, the Spanish midfielder has scored and assisted a combined total of 65 goals since the 2011/12 season.
In fifth place, we see Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard with 58 goals (33 goals and 25 assists), followed by Eden Hazard, who also has 58, but has scored one more goal and assisted in one less (34 goals and 24 assists).
In third we see the African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure, with a total of 60 goals (40 goals and 20 assists) and in second place we see Manchester City's David Silva on 61 (26 goals and 35 assists).
Mata has played for two clubs since 2011, but has had many more obstacles throughout his career, if you compare him to the likes of Hazard and Toure - who get played week in and out.
