Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was left concerned on Monday night after Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus limped off the field in the Citizens' 2-0 win over Bournemouth.
Pep Casts Doubt Over Star's Future
The 19-year-old walked off the pitch in the 15th minute after suffering a foot injury following an awkward landing as he tried to get on to the end of a cross.
Guardiola spoke about the extent of Jesus' injury after the match.
"Tomorrow (Tuesday) morning we will know exactly," he told Sky Sports.
"He was so, so unfortunate, but hopefully – I am going to pray tonight – it is not going to be a big issue."
The forward was replaced by Sergio Aguero, who played a key part in City's second goal, and Guardiola praised the Argentine's contribution to his team's win.
"He played good, really good," the Spaniard added.
"He won, he fought, he scored a goal, which for his confidence, and of course for us, is so important, and I am so happy for him.
"When you play in a big team with a lot of competition, like cup and Champions League, we need all the players."
