An English Premier League star has been voted the best Brazilian player in Europe ahead of FC Barcelona superstar, Neymar.

Liverpool midfielder, Philippe Coutinho has won the 2016 Samba Gold Award for the best Brazilian player in Europe.
Coutinho received 32.13 percent of the vote in a combined poll featuring journalists, current and ex-professionals and supporters.
Neymar finished the voting in second, while Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro completed the top three.
Casemiro's teammate, Marcelo comes in at number four, while Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino rounds out the top five.
