Defender Craig Dawson netted a brace as West Bromwich Albion crushed Arsenal 3-1 at the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
The home side enjoyed a fine start to the encounter, while the Gunners failed to threaten in the opening 10 minutes.
West Brom broke the deadlock in the 12th minute as Craig Dawson rose above Laurent Koscielny head home Nacer Chadli's corner, 1-0.
That joy was short live, as Arsenal as Granit Xhaka picked out Alexis Sanchez, who showed great composure to slot home from close range, 1-1.
The Gunners were dealt a blow after 35 minutes as Petr Cech limped off with a calf injury. He was replaced by David Ospina.
Neither side could carve out another opening, as te score remained 1-1 at the break.
West Brom restored their lead 10 minutes into the second half, as substitute Hal Robson-Kanu poked home from 10-yards out, after an error from Opsina.
Arsene Wenge responded by introducing Olivier Giroud for Theo Walcott after 65 minutes.
However, West Brom added a third goal in the 75th minute as Dawson grabbed his second with another simple header from six-yards out.
Arsenal looked for a way back into the clash in the closing stages, but the home side managed to hold out for three points.
