Liverpool were left frustrated after they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Watford in their opening Premier League encounter.
Jurgen Klopp was without the services of Philippe Coutinho, although new signing Mohammed Salah started in the attack.
Watford enjoyed a bright start and took the lead after seven minutes when an un-marked Stefano Okaka headed home at the near post.
After quiet start, Liverpool leveled matters with the first chance in the 28th minute as Emre Can played in Sadio Mane, who slotted into the far corner from close range.
The visitors' joy was short-lived, as Watford restored their lead two minutes later as Doucoure slotted home from six-yards out after Liverpool failed to deal with Tom Cleverly's cross.
The score remained 2-1 to Watford at the halftime break.
Liverpool were handed a penalty 10 minutes into the second half when Salah was brought down. Roberto Firmino stepped up and converted the spot-kick.
The visitors then took the lead two minutes later as Salah bagged his first Liverpool goal by poking into an empty net.
The Reds nearly added a fourth in the 70th minute but Gomes produced a good save to keep out Dejan Lovren's header.
The Hornets continued to pile on the pressure as they pushed for an equalising goal in the closing stages.
Watford were then rewarded in the final minute of the game, as Miguel Britos popped up with the all important equaliser to snatch a point.
