Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and Yaya Toure were all on target as Manchester City cruised to a 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.
Sergio Aguero returned to the line up to partner Gabriel Jesus in the attack, while Pablo Zabaleta started on the bench in his final home game.
It was City who had the first real effort at goal in the 14th minute when Aleksander Kolarov tried his luck from distance but Ben Foster produced a superb save to keep out the strike.
The home side's early domination paid off the in the 27th minute as Aguero played in De Bruyne, who teed up Jesus for the simple tap-in.
The lead was doubled two minutes later when Danny Wilson's clearance landed in the path of De Bruyne, who brilliantly slotted into the far corner from 20-yards out.
West Brom, meanwhile, sat back for most of the opening 45 minutes and failed to offer any threat to the City defence.
After a quiet opening to the second half, the hosts extended their lead in the 57th minute as Yaya Toure exchanged passes with Aguero before slotting into the far corner, 3-0.
With City comfortably leading, Guardiola withdrew Vincent Kompany for John Stones in the 76th minute.
The home side could have increased their lead after 83 minutes when Fernandinho played Jesus through on goal, but Foster produced a fine double save to deny the Brazilian from close range.
West Brom pulled a goal back three minutes later when an un-marked Hal Robson-Kanu slotted home from close range, following a good build-up.
Nonetheless, the score remained 3-1 to City at the full-time whistle as Guardiola's charges move up to third spot heading into the final day.
