English Premier League   Result: Chelsea 1-1 Leicester City   Date: 15 May 2016   Venue: Stamford Bridge   Chelsea shared the spoils with Premier League champions Leicester City on Sunday as they drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.   The Blues came close to scoring the first goal in the eighth minute when Pedro curled a low strike past Kasper Schmeichel, but the ball went just wide of the far post.   Leicester also threatened to break the deadlock a few minutes later when a counter attack gave Jamie Vardy a chance to strike, but his left-footed attempt went wide of the target.   Chelsea had a chance again in the 28th minute. Pedro was in the action again, providing a cross for Traore to latch onto, but miscued his shot completely.   Schmeichel had to show his worth just before the interval when Cesc Fabregas played Willian through. The goalkeeper got down quickly to stop the Brazilian's shot from close range.   A barrage of attacks from Chelsea on the stroke of half-time saw Schmeichel make a string of saves before Pedro tucked the ball away, but a flag went up for offside and his goal was disallowed.   The scoreline remained goalless up until the 65th minute when the Blues were awarded a penalty. Schlupp lunged in at Nemanja Matic in the box, giving Fabregas a chance to convert the spot-kick.   However, in the 82nd minute the Foxes were back on level terms. Danny Drinkwater produced a stunner of a strike from 30 yards that dipped to find the bottom corner of the Chelsea goal for a 1-1 result.
