Although Saudi clubs will have until 7 September to sign players, it appears Brentford's Ivan Toney will be on the way to the Middle East.
According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms over a €42 million (R820 million) move to Saudi giants Al Ahli.
Interestingly, the Saudi Pro League outfit has also reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen.
However, it is unclear as to whether that deal will impact Toney's.
Toney is reportedly now set to undergo a medical ahead of his move to the club previously coached by South African tactician Pitso Mosimane.
The striker had previously been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United in England, but it is believed there were no formal approaches from those clubs.
