Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and FC Barcelona maestro Lionel Messi were all included in Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge's Ultimate XI.

The striker, who has also played for the Manchester City, Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers so far in his career, was asked by the Liverpool Echo to select a dream team of players he has admired in his career.
The team the England international named is filled with high-profile players, some of them former teammates and others who were opponents.
In goals, the Liverpool forward picked former Chelsea, now Arsenal No. 1 Petr Cech for his fantasy team. The pair were teammates at Stamford Bridge and won the 2012 UEFA Champions League together.
Sturridge named two former Blues' stars, John Terry and Ashley Cole, in defence, along with Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany and Brazil stalwart Thiago Silva.
Anfield favourite Steven Gerrard was selected in midfield alongside former Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo, while Ronaldo and Messi were jotted down as the two wide men.

The England international, who opted against picking himself for his two-man attack, decided to go with Didier Drogba and Frenchman Nicolas Anelka instead.
