Report: City Star Tells Pep He Wants Barca Transfer
The Red Devils have confirmed the arrival of 30-year-old Denmark international Christian Eriksen, who has agreed to a three-year deal in Manchester.
"Man United is a special club, and I cannot wait to get started," the Dane said, as per the club's official website.
"Ten Hag is a fantastic coach. Having spoken with him, I am even more excited for the future."
Eriksen returned to the Premier League with Brentford in January 2021 following his departure from Italian giants Inter Milan after suffering cardiac arrest at last year's UEFA European Championship.
With the Bees, the ex-Tottenham Hotspur player showed he could still compete at the highest level before new United manager Erik ten Hag proposed that the club look into snapping him up on a free transfer.
He now becomes the 20-time English champions' second signing of the window following Tyrell Malacia's arrival earlier this week.
