Former Chelsea flop Timo Werner is reportedly set for a surprise return to the Premier League with one of the Blues' rivals.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are set to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner in the next few days.

The German forward was left out of the Leipzig squad for their friendly on Saturday afternoon in order for the two clubs to conclude a deal.
Werner spent two years in England with the Blues, where he registered 23 goals and 21 assists in 89 matches.
