Chelsea have reportedly made their decision regarding the potential acquisition of Nigeria hitman Victor Osimhen.

The Lagos native has been tipped to make the move to the Premier League in recent weeks, with speculation linking him with a transfer to the west Londoners having intensified.
Osimhen's current club Napoli are believed to be keen on landing Romelu Lukaku, and a swap deal involving the two stars has been floated recently.
However, it seems the Blues have now effectively ended their interest in the 25-year-old Super Eagle as a consequence of their eagerness to sign another forward with Nigerian links.
According to the Daily Mail, the two-time European champions have now shifted their focus to signing Atletico Madrid's Samu Omorodion.
In his first full campaign playing senior football last season, the Melilla native scored nine goals in 35 appearances for loan club Alaves in LALIGA, and now Chelsea are reported to have tabled a £30 million (R699 million) offer for his services.
While Osimhen is seemingly no longer a priority for the Blues, there is still a possibility that the reigning CAF Men's Footballer of the Year could make his way to the English top flight, with Sky Italia reporting that Arsenal still retain an interest in the forward.

So far, Gli Azzurri have been reluctant to budge on the 35-cap Nigeria international's release clause, which is touted to be €130 million (R2.6 billion), but with Osimhen having not played a single pre-season match under Antonio Conte, it seems he could be on his way out sooner rather than later.
