Some of the Premier League's biggest sides are reportedly interested in signing an African star who is currently beating Harry Kane in the Bundesliga Golden Boot race.

Last season, Malian striker Serhou Guirassy gave the Englishman a run for his money in the race for top goalscorer honours in the German top flight, scoring 28 goals, eight behind Kane's 36.
This term, it seems another African forward will be in contention for Golden Boot honours as Egypt's Omar Marmoush currently leads the way in the race for the Kicker-Torjagerkanone with his eight goals in six matches.
This past weekend, he scored two goals in a 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich as he continues to impress many of England's top sides.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keeping close tabs on the Egyptian attacker as they look to lure him to what is considered the most competitive league on the planet.
In the case of the Gunners, in particular, they have also been looking at various other forwards throughout Europe in an effort to bolster their attack.
The same report claims that Lille's Jonathan David and Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic have also been considered by the north Londoners, but Marmoush appears to be the most affordable, with Eintracht Frankfurt rumoured to have put a €40 million (R764 million) price tag on him.

It is understood the English sides view this price tag as reasonable, but it remains to be seen which club in the Premier League the 25-year-old favours.
