Reports: Cristiano Ronaldo Fumed At Real Madrid Teammates In Dressing Room

Reports: Cristiano Ronaldo Fumed At Real Madrid Teammates In Dressing Room

After reacting furiously to Lionel Messi's late El Clasico winner on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly ripped into two of his teammates in the dressing room afterwards.

The Portuguese was seen kicking the turf and shouting at his defenders after Real conceded the late goal, and with it a comfortable position at the top of the La Liga standings.

Los Blancos came back from behind to equalise with 10 men, but seemingly wanted to find the winner and were caught napping at the back by FC Barcelona.

Had the game ended in a draw, Real would have retained their three-point lead over Barcelona, with one game in hand.

However, the Catalan giants leapfrogged Los Blancos at the top of the table, and Real now need to win or at least draw their game in hand to keep their La Liga fate in their own hands.

According to Marca, Ronaldo continued his rant in the dressing room and fumed at Luka Modric as well as Marcelo for missing crucial tackles in the build-up to Messi's winner.

While it is not known what Ronaldo said to the pair, Marcelo has admitted to being at least partly at fault for Messi's late winner.

"In the end, if I make the foul, a technical foul, on Sergi, maybe they do not score the goal, although it is impossible to know," the Brazilian said, as quoted by ESPN.

"Many things happen in seconds – it is very difficult. Maybe I take the blame, there is no problem with that. If I make a foul, they don't score the goal."

Real have a chance to return to winning ways when Zinedine Zidane's side travel to Deportivo La Coruna on Wednesday.
