A frustrated Zinedine Zidane has admitted he was unhappy with his team's performance after they failed to capitalise on a number of goalscoring chances in their 3-2 defeat to arch-rivals FC Barcelona on Sunday.
Zidane Defends Ronaldo Against Boo Boys
Lionel Messi's 93rd-minute goal sealed the win for the Blaugrana after James Rodriguez appeared to have rescued a point for Los Blancos shortly after they went down to 10 men late in the second half.
Zidane has since insisted that his team had enough chances to win the game, believing they should have played smarter after Sergio Ramos was given his marching orders.
"We cannot be happy," Zidane said, as quoted by Marca.
"We made a lot (of chances) during the whole game. We had many goalscoring chances, but couldn't bring the game under control.
"When you don't kill the game off, this can happen, and it did…
"We are disappointed with the result. When you get back to 2-2 with 10 men, you have to think a little more and defend together.
"I have to look at the game again but I wouldn't have changed anything. There is a lot of the league left and we have to think about the next game.
"Messi made the difference for his team. Today, he has scored two goals, but it is not only Messi.
"We didn't control the game well in the moments that we could have done damage to our opponent.
"That they've hurt us is logical in any game."

The result sees Real and Barca level on points at the top of the La Liga table, although Zidane's men have a game in hand over Enrique's side.
