The Blaugrana handed Real Madrid their third straight pre-season loss as they walked away 3-2 winners in their final game of the International Champions Cup tournament.
Croatian playmaker Ivan Rakitic was seen having stern words with referee Jair Marrufo throughout the game, and the player spoke about their second-half confrontation after the encounter.
"People who know me are aware that it is difficult to wind me up but the referee did," Rakitic said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"He insulted me quite strongly, three times. I usually have a lot of respect for them but when they don't show it to me, then I don't like it."
