Ex-Bafana Bafana Striker Took 10 Lucky South Africans To Real Madrid

Ahead of El Clasico, ten lucky South Africans were hosted by former Bafana Bafana striker George Dearnaley and Nivea Men to a trip of their life time to Real Madrid, where they came close to Cristiano Ronaldo and Co.

Click through the gallery to see images of the trip, including Real's famous training grounds and the club museum.

Five lucky winners each won the amazing trip – worth R75 000 per person – as their names were drawn from thousands of entries for the Nivea Men Real Madrid competition.

Each winner could take their partner on the trip that included flights to Madrid, hotel accommodation, private entry into the Real Madrid's famous training facility at Valdebebas, a tour of the famous Santiago Bernabeu stadium including the club museum, and tickets for a Real Madrid home match!

At the training grounds, the South African contigent came very close to stars such as Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Zinedine Zidane, watching at training from only a few meters away – an experience they will never forget.

Tebogo Temeki, Justis Digashu, Richard Smith, Damian Naidoo and Bonga Nkosi all entered the Nivea Men competition but none of them could believe their luck when they found out they had won the trip of a lifetime!

Former Bafana striker Dearnaley, who ran out thrice for the South African national team, was their guide and the group was accompanied by legendary cameraman Howard Cleland who captured every moment of the tour.
