BVB supporters might be licking their lips as they prepare to see their 15-year-old sensation promoted to the first-team for the 2020/21 campaign.
It was recently announced by the club that Moukoko will be registered for Dortmund's European squad this season, for which he will be available once he has turned 16 years old in November.
The Cameroonian, who represents Germany at youth level, has started this season brilliantly for his club's U19 side, having struck three hat-tricks in as many games.
Sadly, after completing his triple in their 3-2 away win over Schalke 04's U19 team on Sunday, Moukoko was said to be racially abused by some fans. Schalke responded on social media by saying that "Derby emotions aside, we completely condemn and oppose such insults".
We can only apologise for the behaviour of some of our fans towards Youssoufa #Moukoko at today's U19s match. Derby emotions aside, we completely condemn and oppose such insults.
