According to The Times, the German tactician is keen on bringing England international Mason Mount to the Allianz Arena in the next transfer window.
The pair reportedly have a great working relationship from their time together in west London, and Tuchel is said to want the versatile midfielder in his Bayern squad next season.
The links to the Bavarians come at a time when the 24-year-old is struggling to negotiate a new deal at Stamford Bridge. Mount is understood to want to extend his stay with his boyhood club, but the length of the contract offered so far and its compensation are reportedly not ideal for the Englishman, which has subsequently led to a halt in talks.
It appears the Cobham alumni could ultimately depart the English capital, especially with rumours suggesting that Chelsea risk the possibility violating Financial Fair Play rules. Mount's sale could be seen as a possible way to offset any financial imbalance the club has after some big spending in recent windows.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the Portsmouth native, with the Reds believed to be desperate to rejuvenate their midfield.
