With there being plenty of speculation surrounding Robert Lewandowski's future at Bayern Munich, here is the latest on the Poland international's situation.
According to German outlet Bild, the 33-year-old is reportedly gearing up to hand in a transfer request at the Bavarians in a bid to push for an exit from the club ahead of next season.
The Pole has a contract in the Bundesliga until 2023, and is yet to agree an extension with Bayern amid heavy interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Spanish press has claimed his agent, Pini Zahavi, has met with the Catalan club to discuss a potential deal for his client, and Lewandowski is believed to be willing to make it clear he wants to be sold.
According to journalist Gerard Romero, the Blaugrana have told the striker's representative they would be willing to submit an official offer of between €30 million (R503 million) and €35 million (R587 million) for his services, and give him a two-year deal.
The Spanish club is also said to have ask Lewandowski to put pressure on Bayern to sell him in the coming window, after reports suggested the forward has been unhappy playing in Julian Nagelsmann's system.
