Despite Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho's move to Manchester United appearing to be off, there has been a new development in the transfer saga.
Reports in Germany suggest that the Englishman will not leave BVB in this transfer window, with club officials stating that the 20-year-old is going nowhere.
United are believed to have failed to match Dortmund's asking price of about £100 million (R2.2 billion), and rather wanted to pay the player's transfer fee in instalments.
There has been no indication that Sancho will force a move away from the Bundesliga side, although Sky Sports has now reported that this could very well change under one condition.
It is claimed the England international would be willing to hand in a transfer request at Dortmund if the Red Devils submit a more realistic offer for him.
Sancho played 44 times this past season for Dortmund, scoring 20 goals and assisting a further 20 strikes.
