With Robert Lewandowski openly admitting to wanting to leave Bayern Munich, it seems the Pole could be interested in a potential move to the Premier League.
Report: Barca Win Race For Brazilian Attacker
Ever since the conclusion of the latest Bundesliga season, Lewandowski has made his feelings about wanting to leave the Allianz Arena known, having seemingly fallen out with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic and Bayern's chiefs.
The 33-year-old's preferred next destination is known to be Barcelona's Camp Nou, with the Catalan giants and Lewandowski's representatives having reportedly agreed personal terms months ago.
Given Barca's volatile financial situation, however, a move to the Catalan giants could fall apart at any moment, and it is believed the striker would rather move to a different club than stay with the Bavarians.
According to Sport Bild, Chelsea are Lewandowski's second option should a transfer to the Blaugrana fail to materialise.
The Blues already have an abundance of attacking talent, but having faltered relative early in the race for the 2021/22 Premier League crown, they are understood to be keen to bring in reinforcements to push the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool into the latter parts of the season for the title.
The same report suggests that Paris Saint-Germain are also eager to sign the former Borussia Dortmund man and is their main attacking priority in this window, but Poland's all-time top goalscorer seemingly only has his eyes set on Stamford Bridge if a move to Catalonia fails.
