Reports suggest that German giants Borussia Dortmund have placed an astronomical price tag of €120 million (R2 billion) on their star midfielder.
According to German outlet Sport Bild, Dortmund will not sell teenage sensation Jude Bellingham for anything less than €120 million in this transfer window.
BVB acquired the teenager's services from English side Birmingham City for €25 million (R423 million) in 2020, and he has been a revelation at Signal Iduna Park ever since.
The 19-year-old has found the back of the net on 10 occasions and assisted 18 strikes in his time with the German club to date.
With Bellingham's contract only expiring after the 2024/25 campaign, Dortmund have a lot of leverage should they enter into negotiations with any interested parties in the near future.
Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United are all reported suitors for the central midfielder, but wouid now need to table a massive offer should they wish to lure the Englishman away from the German club.
As far as next season is concerned, Bellingham will be staying put at the home of the eight-time Bundesliga champions.
He confirmed this while speaking to German publication Ruhr Nachrichten recently.
"The only future I think about is the next game for Dortmund," the England international said.
"I'm really looking forward to next season.
"I can't wait for it to finally start. But yes, I will be here next season and I will be ready."
